CELEBRATING MY 61 YEARS YOUNG BIRTHDAY!
Beautiful People…how are you and thank you so much for stopping by Medley Style! So, I celebrated my 61 years young last month and yes, for the past two years, I’ve shared a BDay post….59 years young here and 60 years young here….with all that is going on in the world right now, I didn’t get a chance to do my BDay shoot until a week after my birthday and you know what y’all…I was totally fine with it and it was truly worth the wait because as always, I was soooo happy with the pics captured by Damian Parker. Damian captured my BDay shoot last year and it was so nice to work with him again…. you can follow Damian here and here…..he ROCKS!
This year I wore the cutest dress from Free People…the beaded bag is also from Free People but I got it last year..…..and check out the orange sandals from Zara….and the earrings are from Lariat!
So, I can’t believe how fast the year went from celebrating 60 to 61….it was truly a blur y’all…I’m so thankful to be here to see another BDay and to be healthy…with all that is happening in the world right now, it’s truly a blessing.
A few things I’ve learned on the journey to 61…
At some point, I had to step out of my comfort zone on certain things….fear can truly hold you back
Forgiveness is also necessary for myself…forgiveness is a hard thing to do, but it’s necessary and it’s also necessary to forgive ourselves.
Exercise is a must….I hate to admit it, but I have to do it and I find that I sometimes need to take a nap on the weekend y’all!
Having peace within myself is a must and to keep the faith!
God is ALWAYS with ME and with YOU….I can’t make it without HIM…
