A Seat At The Floral Table

In honor of "Throwback Thursday" in the world of social media, I thought I would take it back several years to my "floral days"....and I got to work with so many talented wedding vendors and on this particular shoot, it was totally done on a whim...which is sometimes when you do your most creative work.

On this beautiful shoot, I got to work with my sweet friend Courtney of Merriment Events and Leo Patrone is the amazing photographer who captured all the pretty.  I love the table and table settings Courtney used for the design element of this shoot and the mix match chairs were simply the perfect mix.  For the flowers, I used a mix of garden roses, ranunculus, tulips and geranium leaves...the mix of the colors and textures were so perfect for the look we were going for....during the shoot, it started to rain and Leo kept shooting and as you can see, everything was simply lovely!  Wouldn't you just love to have a seat at this floral table....of course you would!

Consider the following when party planning:

1. Get organized and start by setting the date and what is the budget for the party.

2.  How many people are on the guest list and pick the venue...will it be at your home...can your home accommodate the number of people on the guest list?

3.  What's the theme?  Will you have music or entertainment. 

4.  What's on the menu?

Also and this is key, HAVE FUN!
