HELLO SEPTEMBER!

Happy September Beautiful People….with September comes signs of my favorite season, Fall. Fall is a time of transition, but to be honest, we all have been in some form of transition since March. With transition comes changes and with changes there sometimes comes a form of fear….fear of the unknown and fear of leaving our “comfort zone”!

Since March, we have made the transition from working in an office to working from home…and for some of us, it looks like working from home maybe much longer than we expected. And, for some of us, this is great news because some of us prefer to work from home.

We also made the transition from not really knowing what the Zoom platform was about to having sometimes up to four Zoom meetings a day. And I probably should have listed wearing the mask at the top of the list…and now many of us are trying to adjust to our kids and grand kids having school online. We also had to transition from attending church service on Sunday to attending church online.

That’s only a few of the transitions that we had to make and yes, it’s been hard and sometimes I’m sure there were days when we just didn’t think we could make it, but look at us….we are taking things day by day and we are making it y’all….I just want to encourage you as I encourage myself….keep the faith and we can get through. Yes, transition and change can be hard and at times uncomfortable, but it’s necessary for growth!

Transition is also about how what to wear on those days when it’s cool enough for a light jacket or sweater….you know those mornings when there’s a little chill in the air and the temps rise during the day….so, I’m sharing few of my favorite pieces from Eileen Fisher. I’m a huge fan of Eileen Fisher….I love her pieces…all so timeless and beautiful and I love the fact that I can mix and match her designs with pieces that I have in my closet.
