Hi Lovelies….Happy Monday and it’s the start of a new week…I hope you are ready for all the wonderful things that are coming your way this week! Well, today I want to chat about the thing that we all go through more times than we probably care to….the “ I Have Nothing To Wear” syndrome….a closet full of clothes and absolutely nothing to wear. Or, if you’ll like me…for some reason, I have more bottoms than tops….I don’t know how this happened but that seems to be my issue on the “I Have Nothing To Wear moments”!
So, could the problem be in the way we are shopping…I think so y’all….and hear are a few things that we maybe doing that causes us to not have anything to wear!
We buy too many trendy items and not the staple pieces…staples pieces such as a white tee shirt, classic white shirt, a pencil skirt, a pair of jeans, a trench coat, and a pair of flats.
Before we head out to shop, we should have a plan. Know what we need to buy and try to stick to those things that we need. Have an outfit…a look already in mind for what you’re shopping for.
Organize your closet by outfits….not by items. This way you can see the “look” and this will also keep you inspired.
Do you find yourself buying the same item all the time…if so, let’s put a stop to this!
If there is any article of clothing in your closet that doesn’t fit, get rid of it. If you aren’t going to get the pieces altered or if you are waiting to lose or gain weight to make them fit, you may want to give yourself a time frame on this!
