DIY - Floral Pumpkin Centerpiece

Hi Lovelies….you all know how much I love a cute and “simple” diy for the home….well, today I have the cutest floral pumpkin centerpiece for you and I purchased the flowers and pumpkins from the local Trader Joe’s. This DIY is so perfect for the season so let’s get started!

What you need: I purchased 2 bunches of tulips for this project. You can use whatever flowers you like, so do you! You’ll need the pumpkin and I’m using floral oasis to hold the flowers inside the pumpkin…if you don’t want to use the floral oasis, you can place a water glass inside the pumpkin to hold the flowers.

So, first cut the top of the pumpkin off and scoop out the pulp. Once this is done, place a plastic bag inside the pumpkin. You’ll place the floral oasis inside the plastic bag. Before you place the floral oasis inside the plastic bag, you need to soak the floral oasis in water and depending on the size of the pumpkin, you’ll need to cut the oasis to fit inside.

Note in the picture above, the top of the floral oasis isn’t covered up…you’ll need to place the flowers on top of the floral oasis.

Now for the fun part…arranging the flowers in the pumpkin. Insert the flowers in the floral oasis or whatever container you’re using to design.

Here’s the finished look….I love using the tulips because they give a loose feeling to the flow of the flowers in the design. I added a few miniature pumpkins to finish the look….now how easy was that…let me know if you’re going to try it…I think you should….have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Lovelies….xoxo Images captured by my beautiful and talented friend Ali of  Alisandra Photography
