Animal Print Coat and Ripped Jeans

Happy Monday Y’all! Hope your weekend was fabulous! Today on the blog it’s all about my animal print coat and ripped jeans that have been on repeat… the coat and jeans are true staple pieces my wardrobe…as you’ve seen on earlier posts, I have worn the coat as a dress and I’ve worn it as an accessory with my faux suede dress…you can see those posts here and here….

For this look, I “shopped my closet”….actually the only new piece is the Ribbed Sweater Shell from Loft…..the coat is from Banana Republic, which I purchased in December 2017 and the jeans are from South Moon Under and I got them about two years ago and the shoes are about three years old from Need Supply.

Our Daily Dose of Inspiration….at 59 years young, I have learned not to judge others…some of the things that I have been through has truly shown me that life can change at the drop of a dime….I know we don’t want to admit it, but some of us judge and we are judged by the way we look, by the type of vehicle we drive, by our address, by our job title, by the title in front of our first name…i.e…Mrs. or Miss, and let’s not forget the ones that judge us by our social media numbers, by the number of likes and comments….this is crazy y’all….and such a waste of time….you never know who may have to help you on your journey…sometimes the person that you would NEVER think could help you is the very one who God will send to help you on this journey. We cannot go through life by ourselves…we all need help and we need someone who can “feed us”…feed our soul.
